About The Teal Run
The Teal Run is a day of hope, love and support for women and families affected by ovarian cancer. The entire community is invited to take part in this fun filled event that will have many activities in addition to the 5K run/walk/stroll. There will be a survivor ceremony, art, face painting, photo booth, bubble show, kids fun run and so much more! Every participant will get a medal and be entered to win some fabulous raffle prizes. Carolyn McArdle, from iHeartRadio, returns to host this special day.

Celebrating 8 Years
The Teal Foundation was started in 2015 by Laurie DeSimone and a group of select volunteers. Laurie wanted to promote a sense of community for ovarian cancer survivors, family and friends while also coming together to fundraise for research with the ultimate goal of finding a cure. Sadly Laurie passed away shortly after the inagural run but her efforts continue through the work of The Teal Foundation.
The Teal Run has remained the only Bay Area 5K event dedicated to ovarian cancer awareness and support. Over 2,500 participants have united to raise over $400,000 for ovarian cancer research and support services.
