After losing my mom to ovarian cancer I am passionate about making a change for future generations, including for my three children. The Teal Run was born out of the need to raise more awareness, raise more money for research and garner support for women and families impacted by an ovarian cancer diagnosis. I am honored to take what my mom started and continue to make change happen!
After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 35, I am passionate about dedicating the rest of my life to making the future better for those affected by ovarian cancer. It has been so meaningful to take the lemons of this diagnosis and turn them into lemonade by finding opportunities to help. The Teal Run is just a perfect way to have an impact locally and globally at the same time.
Digital Media Intern
I am currently pursuing an MBA at Boston University, bringing a diverse skill set to the forefront as I contribute to the impactful work of The Teal Foundation. In my role as an intern, I am working on two projects, one to build a supportive community for families/individuals affected by ovarian cancer. Another, to raise awareness with the help of technology by building informational games. I am actively exploring innovative solutions to raise awareness & enhance fundraising efforts for this important cause.
